Mother Road Market Has Four Different Ways to Spend Fall Break
A patio movie, budget-friendly food, silent disco and music bingo appear on the October 14–17 schedule.

Mother Road Market's fall-break calendar doesn't rely on one big event. The plan changes each day, from an outdoor movie to food specials to a dance floor with headphones.

The market's published schedule begins Wednesday, October 14, with a dine-in movie at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 15, brings a $3 Lunch Club from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: participating merchants plan to offer a $3 item, with $3 mini golf also advertised.

On Friday, October 16, a silent disco starts at 6 p.m. Headsets are listed as free to borrow, first come, first served; organizers say returned sets will be sanitized and made available again. Saturday's 6 p.m. Mixtape Bingo swaps numbered balls for songs and is free to play.

The market also has its separate, ticketed Food Fight: Tag Team event Thursday evening, October 15. Food purchases, specials and other activities have their own prices, so the week should not be mistaken for four days of entirely free entertainment.

Mother Road Market is at 1124 S. Lewis Ave. Check the full event calendar before heading out; participating vendors and activity details can change.
